Isker-Vital
History
The Group has
its origins as an engineering &
construction business founded in 1983.
Isker-Vital operates as both a Domestic
and an International engineering and
construction contractor and resource
provider, principally focussed on the
Oil & Gas, Mining and Infrastructure
sectors.
Throughout its development, Isker-Vital
has invested heavily in its E+C capability
in order to provide its clients with
a specialist contracting and resource
service.
During the mid 1990s, The Group began
to develop a facilities management capability
to take advantage of growing trends
towards the outsourcing of non-core
activities by the Oil & Gas and
Electricity producers. In 2002, these
operations were separated into a new
facilities management business and the
scale was significantly increased with
the acquisition of Staveley Engineering
Services, a top 10 UK contracting and
maintenance group.
Recognising the growing need to train
the next generation of industry workers
due to the shortage of skilled personnel,
together with the growing importance
of safety and environmental risk management
to its client base, the Group acquired
a training and competence management
capability that is now the envy of many
of its contemporaries.
Setting new standards and the quest
for zero accidents and incidents in
potentially hazardous operating sectors
such as Oil and Gas, Power and Rail
demands a continuous investment in the
safety of our people and the protection
of the environment.
The addition of facilities management,
training and investment to the original
Engineering and Construction business,
enables Isker-Vital to offer the capability
to optimise customers’ capital
and operating expenditures throughout
an asset’s total life cycle.
